You'll meet an entire cast of quirky, memorable characters, such as Jeremy Jack, a loveable nerd, and Professor Meapole, a mad scientist who doesn't always know what he's doing. You might want to walk around in a fancy dress, a pirate costume, or a t-shirt with a skull on it.Īnother thing that makes performing quests for the characters so enjoyable is the characters themselves. So long as you have the materials to make them, you can make as many outfits as you want and change clothes at any time. When you begin the game, you customize your character's appearance by choosing his or her hairstyle, eye color, and the like, but the real fun of customization comes in the actual game, as you unlock more and more patterns for outfits you can wear. Your pet can obtain items by digging holes, climbing trees, or charming other animals, and you can then find or buy recipes or patterns to make different kinds of food and outfits that you can either keep or give to other people for quests or just to increase friendship. You and your pet must try to make friends with these people so they'll help you repair your balloon and get home. While on a hot-air balloon ride, your balloon gets caught up in a storm and crashes on a strange island that seems to attract all kinds of weird people. This may sound super-boring, but this game pulls it off surprisingly well. Instead of a mission to save the world, you'll be training your pet to gather food and other items for you and you'll be fetching or making different things for various characters. Wandering Willows is called an RPG, but it's a different kind of RPG. You can fully customize and dress up your character. Lots of recipes and clothing patterns to find. Ah well, my computer's driving me crazy so it's to be expected. I seem to be only updating this thing every two or three weeks.
